Hallöchen, heute gibt es mal ein paar Infos zu unserem Urlaub (naja oder verspätete Flitterwochen). Und natürlich auch noch andere Dinge
* wir haben beide Angst, wie wir die ewigen Stunden im Flugzeug und an den Flughäfen verbringen
* wir sind noch nie zusammen irgendwo hingeflogen
* wie unsere Reise aussieht?

* Warum Walnut Creek. Ich will Marcel zeigen, wo ich mal gewohnt hab 
* Warum New York, das liegt ja ganz woanders? Ich war so schlau, und hab einen Rückflug gebucht, bei dem wir um 7 uhr morgens in NY ankommen und erst um 7 Uhr abends abfliegen. Das heißt wir haben 12 Stunden in NY. (naja mit An-und Abreise zum Flughafen vielleicht 9) aber selbst 6 sind mehr wie genug.
* Marcel tut mir jetzt schon leid, denn wir werden einige Stunden in Target verbringen, aber das weiß er schon
* Andere Dinge auf die ich mich freue:
Krispy Kreme (besten Donuts der Welt, Dunkin Donuts kommt da nicht mal halb ran)
Jamba Juice (ich hab das damals erst 1 monat vor meiner Abreise gefunden, aber von da an jeden Tag getrunken)
Pinkberry (kenn ich selber och nicht, sieht aber so lecker aus)

und noch vieles mehr
* wir haben kein umweltfreundliches kleines Auto gewählt. Sorry, aber in Deutschland geht so ein großes Auto leider nicht. Das muss man mal ausnutzen. Wenigstens einmal im Leben.
* Ich werd schon ein paar Tage vorher versuchen meinen Tagesrythmus umzustellen. Ich will schließlich so viel wie möglich von SF mitbekommen.
* die Flugbestimmungen fürs Handgepäck sind wirklich lustig. Man darf ja nur Flüssigkeiten bis 100ml mitnehmen. Die müssen dann aber alle zusammen in einer Ziploc Tüte mit einer maximalen Größe von 1 Liter sein. Hä. Was macht es denn für einen Unterschied, ob ich die Sachen so im Handgepäck habe, oder in einer Ziploc Tüte?
* Wir haben dieses Jahr wirklich Pech mit dem Wetter im Urlaub. Erst war das Wetter im Urlaub etwas bescheiden. Jetzt wo wir das Wochenende am See verbringen wollen, ist es wieder schlechter wie unter der Woche. Gemein.
* Oh oh, letzte Woche hat Project Runway in den USA begonnen. Ich schau das dann immer über You tube. Ich liebe diese Sendung. Keine Ahnung warum, aber wegen Heidi Klum schau ich es bestimmt nicht.

today I am going to tell you about our vacations (well or our belated honeymoon). And some other things as well.
* we are both afraid how we will handle the hours in the airplains or on the airports
* its our first flight together
* were we are going (check out the picture above)

* Why Walnut Creek? I want to show Marcel where I have lived
* Why New York, its on the other side if the US? Well I was smart enough to book a flight that lands at 7am in NY and takes off at 7pm. That gives us 12 hours in NY (or 9 with going to manhatten and back to the airport). even 6 are more than enough
* I feel sorry for Marcel. We will spent quite some hours at Target. But I already told him that.
* some other things I can’t wait for:

* we did not take an environmental friendly car. Sorry, but you can’t have a car like this in Germany, so we had to have it. At least once in life.
* I am going to change my day/night rhythm completely a few days before the vacations. I just don’t want to miss a second of SF.
* Taking baggage in the airplane is really funny. You are just supposed to take not more than 100ml of fluids and then you have to put it into a ziploc bag. Why do you have to use the ziploc bags? where is the difference if I carry it without the bag?
* we are not lucky with weather on vacation days this year. The week at the lake was not really good. Now, that we want to spend this weekend at the lake, its the same again. The weather is hot the whole week and gets chilly at the weekend.
* Oh Oh, and they started Project Runway again in the USA. I am watching it through You tube and I love it. I don’t know why, its not Heidi Klum, thats for sure.
